The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Festival is organised in celebration of the Organisation’s achievements and in consolidation of the Islamic culture and its civilisational heritage. The Festival aims to raise awareness on the strenuous efforts the OIC exerts towards establishing the foundations of tolerance. The Festival also seeks to promote Islamic and human values which call for tolerance and peaceful coexistence in all forms and activities, in addition to highlighting the main country attractions in the Member States and presenting an overview on the current situation and life aspects of Muslim minorities in non-Muslim majority countries
