What is TVET Innovation Week?
TVET Innovation Week is a national platform that brings together experts, industry representatives, government leaders, entrepreneurs, policy-makers, researchers, students and educators to exchange ideas and expertise on a range of critically important themes in the various fields that make up Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in the 21st Century. The event aims also at informing prospective students about the advances in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and the benefits of enrolling in this type of education. Most importantly, the initiative aspires to bridge the gap between industry and educational institutes through encouraging partnerships and presenting best practices and lessons learnt in this area. ACTVET’s key annual event, “TVET Innovation Week” is to be held on February 4th, 2020 the capstone event is The Leader’s Forum. The event aims also at informing the society about the advances in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and the benefits of enrolling in this type of education. Most importantly, the initiative aspires to bridge the gap between industry and educational institutes through encouraging partnerships and presenting best practices and lessons learnt in this area. This year the theme is “The Accelerators of the Future”.
