Abu Dhabi and India have agreed to collaborate closely to identify bottlenecks to trade and new areas of trade with the aim of increasing two-way trade by 60 per cent in five years while significantly boosting investment.

India is considered to be a primary trading partner of the UAE, accounting for about 9.8 per cent of its total non-oil trade. India is also the largest importer of goods from the UAE, buying about 14.9 per cent of that country's exports and about 8.7 per cent of its re-exports, becoming the UAE's second-largest market in the latter category.

India Trade Expo is a multi-sectorial event where companies can display their industrial potential covering a large profile of products targeting the immense trading potential of the UAE and MENA region.
