The 11th Medication Safety Conference continue its mission of improving patient safety in the region. This year’s Conference will highlight the roles of health system integration and patient engagement in improving medication safety. This highly anticipated event will take place on the 2nd – 4th November 2018 in Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center, United Arab Emirates.
The Medication Safety Conference is now on its 2nd year collaboration with the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), which ensures greater access to well-regarded experts and global contemporary practice topics. The conference is also supported by the Health Authority of Abu Dhabi, International Medication Safety Network (IMSN), the Institute for Safe Medication Practices (ISMP) and ISMP Canada. Building on its track record of success, the event will host over 1,200 delegates from the GCC and surrounding regions, including pharmacists, physicians, nurses, students and other healthcare professionals devoted to patient safety and in particular medication safety best practices.
Medication Safety Conference introduced a ‘Nursing’ session in addition to Medication Safety, Pharmacy Practice and Community Pharmacy tracks within the conference few years back and now we are evolving it to an expanded Nursing parallel track to Pharmacy Practice and Medication Safety streams. The Nursing track stream will surely add exceptional value to the conference’s scientific programme with more CE and networking opportunities.
