The ADNEC Group is committed to the safety and wellbeing of everyone who visits our venues. We are excited to be welcoming the world back to ADNEC and have worked to ensure that event organisers have everything that they need to be able to plan for safe events and are equipped with the tools they might need to communicate safety measures effectively with their exhibitors, visitors and delegates.
Our approach is in line with the latest guidance issued by Department of Culture & Tourism in Abu Dhabi, and has been informed by international event industry best practice issued by ICCA, AIPC and UFI. Furthermore, our Business with Confidence guidelines reference Abu Dhabi Governmental Health and Safety guidelines as well as those issued by the World Health Organization and is updated continuously.

Planning Events Safely at ADNEC
Planning Phase
We will collaborate with you to review proposed floorplans and advise on distancing measures and maximum capacities for event spaces.
Venue Sanitisation and Hygiene
The venue is deep cleaned and fogged between events and after build-up.
Training
All ADNEC staff receive regular training on COVID-19 health and safety procedures.
Build Up
Strict safety regulations for event build-up regarding distancing and crowding.
Venue Access for Staff and Contractors
Entry for all ADNEC staff, contractors and sub-contractors is subject to thermal scanning and a valid negative COVID-19 test result.
Venue Entry for Visitors
Entry for visitors is subject to a thermal scan and negative PCR result. Those who do not comply to Abu Dhabi safety guidelines will not be permitted access.
Anyone feeling unwell in the lead up to the event should NOT attend.
All visitors MUST wear appropriate face masks at all times.
Procedures will be in place to manage anyone displaying or reporting symptoms at any point through the event.
Minimizing Contact
Pre-registration and contactless registration.
Please limit printed literature and promotional items.
One-way systems and staggered entry will be enforced event.
Distancing measures will be applied throughout the venue.
Sanitisation and Hygiene
All event spaces and high traffic spaces will be regularly cleaned, sanitised and fogged.
All washrooms and prayer rooms will be regularly cleaned and disinfected.
We encourage contactless payments throughout the venue.

Capital Hospitality employs a whole host of measures designed to keep you safe from the point of delivery through service.
Onsite Hotels
ADNEC’s interconnected hotels, the 5- star luxury Andaz and 4 star Aloft Abu Dhabi are both Go Safe certified.
Safety and social distancing measures will be applied during the breakdown period.
