Rigging
Rigging at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre is provided by the venue's official contractor Melville. Melville offers clients a number of rigging services from the beginning to the conclusion of a project.
As the official contractor of ADNEC, Melville can provide on-site operational support throughout the event with ongoing cover and response during tenancy.
Drawing on years of industry experience, Melville provides the resources to enable lighting rigs, banners, ceiling dressing and draping to be hung in the roof of the halls prior to tenancy.
Melville will provide the primary fixings for every suspension, ensuring that the points comply with the weight restrictions, rules and regulations at ADNEC.
Services Offered
- VENUE ROOF POINT
- Used to suspend significant loads that will be attached to the venue roof.
- MANUAL CHAIN HOIST BLOCK
- A manual lifting hoist; these are used to lift light weight flown items.
- ELECTRIC CHAIN HOIST
- A motorised lifting hoist; these are used to lift complex flown items.
- ALUMINIUM TRUSSING
- Modular system used to form a structure for the suspension of flown features.
- DRAPES HIRE RIG AND DERIG
- A linear price per meter for rigging drapes up to a 14 meter drop. Anything above this height must be priced on application.
- EMERGENCY EXIT SIGN
- Normally ordered via the organiser, these are illuminated exit signs inclusive of power.
