  • His Excellency Sheikh Sultan Bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan
    Chairman

    In addition to his role as Chairman of ADNEC, His Excellency Sheikh Sultan Bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan holds a number of official positions, including Chairman of Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority and Chairman of Tourism Development and Investment Company (TDIC). He is also on the Governing Board of the Environment Agency Abu Dhabi (EAD) and is a Member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council.

  • His Excellency Ali Saeed Bin Harmal Al Dhaheri
    Managing Director

    His Excellency Ali Saeed Bin Harmal Al Dhaheri was appointed ADNEC’s Managing Director in 2007 and has played a significant role in ADNEC's expansion strategy both nationally and internationally. He also occupies a number of other senior positions including being a Member of the ADNEC and ExCeL London Board, Chairman of the National Conferences Committee, Member of the Board of Directors of the UAE Red Crescent, and an Honorary Board Member of Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club.

  • Pieter Idenburg
    Group Chief Executive Officer

    Pieter brings more than 25 years of customer service passion and business acumen to the company and has held senior management positions in a number of international organisations such as American Airlines, The Walt Disney Company, British Airways and most recently as CEO of Suntec Singapore Exhibition & Convention Centre.

    His experience and industry knowledge will strengthen the organisation, and his reputation as an innovator supports ADNEC’s vision to be the most successful exhibition, conference and events centre in the region

  • Mike Henderson
    Group Chief Strategy and Finance Officer, ADNEC

    Mike Henderson joined ADNEC in early 2007 and has 25 years’ experience in accounting and finance. The last five years has seen Mike manage and champion a number of company changes and a full strategic review for ADNEC.

    He has held a number of CFO roles in both the private security and real estate industries as well as working in the Middle East for 13 years in Ernst & Young as a Partner

  • Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri
    Chief Commercial Officer, ADNEC

    Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri joined ADNEC in 2005, after a 10-year career with leading governmental and non-governmental entities in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

    Prior to his appointment as ADNEC’s Chief Commercial Officer, Humaid held several senior positions at ADNEC including Finance Director, Procurement Director and Human Resources Director.

    His strong academic background, leadership skills, experience, and insights into local and international business’ have enabled Humaid to contribute significantly to ADNEC’s development into one of Abu Dhabi’s most dynamic organisations. In Humaid’s tenure as Chief Commercial Officer, the company has hosted Abu Dhabi’s largest ever congress, the World Ophthalmology Congress, and he has played an integral role in defining ADNEC’s revised corporate strategy and company vision.

    Humaid holds a Masters in International Accounting and Financial Management from the University Of Glasgow in the UK, and is an active member of the UAE Accountants and Auditors Association. He is also on the board of ExCeL London.

  • Salah Al Jaeedi
    Chief Financial Officer, ADNEC

    Our Chief Financial Officer, Salah Al Jaeedi, has over 20 years’ experience in the financial industry. He previously worked in several government and semi government organisations including Abu Dhabi Municipality and is a founding member of the UAE Accounts and Auditors Association. Salah’s is responsiblefor leading strategic and tactical planning, development, evaluation and coordination of the Finance function at ADNEC. He is also responsible for guiding and managing ADNEC’s Human Resources and Procurement functions.

  • Khaled Alsafi Al Hashmi
    Chief Operating Officer (COO)

    Khaled Alsafi Al Hashmi joined ADNEC in 2011 with over 18 years’ experience from various industries, government and semi government entities. He is an engineer by discipline and has held several management positions such as Director of Strategy and Policy, Planning and Support Services Manager, Head of Planning and Budget and Mechanical/Maintenance Engineer.

    As Chief Operating Officer, Khaled manages all strategic planning relating to ADNEC’s operations and oversees the venue portfolio at both Abu Dhabi and Al Ain Convention Centre.

  • Saleh Hassan Al Marzooqi
    IDEX Director

    Saleh, who joined ADNEC in February 2012, has settled in to his new role to lead the IDEX Department and work closely with all partners to ensure that IDEX and NAVDEX grow and reach their full potential and competitive advantage. With over 30 years of strong aviation and defence project experience, both with the UAE Air Force, Emirates airline, Etihad airline, Royal Jet and Abu Dhabi aviation, Saleh brings a wealth of experience to our company.
