Cuisine from all corners of the world can be found in Abu Dhabi and the city is lucky enough to have some of the finest restaurants in the Middle East.

As well as the international menus on offer in the top class restaurants and hotels, visitors are encouraged to sample the delicious local and regional dishes such as hummus, salads, fresh pastries, rice dishes and grilled meats.

Alcohol is permitted in Abu Dhabi and is served in hotel restaurants and bars but, with a few exceptions (e.g. some clubs and associations), is generally not for sale elsewhere.
